I agree with you. Bush didn't worship the one true God...he worshiped the false God of money.
The Bible does say that the love of money is the root to all evil.

If the US wants to take the world, be prepared to face the numerous armies of the former Warsaw, the resourceful Israelis, the zealous arabians and the elite veteran might of Europe's special forces.

So, US, want to still attack the world? Its not like you have the Star Wars anymore.

BTW: Im not anti america and american. Im from Asia.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
1 Timothy 6:10

I'm a Christian and try my best to help my fellow man. All Bush cares about is money and only pleasing himself and not God.
I think that you make a good point here.

Good cartooning. I have a good argument. Think how much you have to SPEND on war. let alone the federal deficet. We are not in this war for money, we are in it because bush is irrational and paraniod as hell.

Please dont lump all americans with the president or the current administration. Most of us think he's full of shit and it seems like his domestic policy is going to destroy our country, his party is turning against him in the senate lately even. As for american patriotism regarding the war, that seemed to burn out as soon as bush decided war might be a good idea. I dont know if you've been down here in the US but the only support that's being shown toward the whole iraq debacle is "support our troops" magnets on cars and that general sentiment, I think most people think we should get the hell out of there and shouldnt have been there in the first place. Don't get me wrong, I love my country, i just dont like what it does a lot of times.
And as long as bush and the republicans can keep the poor (a little un-pc i know) thinking that republicans are looking out for ther intrests, things are never going to change. People who make less money pay less taxes and benefit more from, and yet most live in the bible belt so vote republican based on abortion and shit like that. I see that as the reason the US is fucked. The map of Red vs. Blue states on the last couple elections show that pretty clearly. My own little rant i guess.

But i liked your pic, i hope we dont go after north korea though, i think they could fuck us up!

Thanks for your interesting comment.

Be sure that I « don't lump all americans with the president or the current administration » as you said. I am not anti-american.
I can easily make the difference between the people and the administration! And I do.
My cartoons on the Iraq war target only the foreign policy of this administration to show the absurdity of it.

Definitely, that is his god.

Look at Terry Shavio. He sure spoke out against it, but he could have ended it with a word. The president controls the office of the Surgeon General. He can hire, fire and/or act in his place. The long and short is he could have said "any doctors in that building will keep her alive or go to work at a convienence store for the rest of their lives". But that would have stepped on the toes of the business interests that own hospitals and insurance companies. Barely mentioned in the news was a premature baby in Texas who was suffocated by doctors as his mother pleaded for his life. This was legal under a bill Dubya himself had signed as governor.

Then there's the "Minutemen", right wing Bush supporters who volunteered to watch the border to 'help' the fantasticly underfunded/understaffed border guard. Bush spoke out against them as 'vigilanties' on live TV. Of course he and his brother are close to "Corporate Farms" that depend on exploitive migrant labor.

He caters to special interests (loony religious nuts) and monied interests. The former he trashes when they've outlived their usefulness, the latter he pays back many times over out of America's pockets.

Thank you very much for this useful and very informative comments!
Real facts are always much more eye-opener than anything else and surely tell the truth...

I just hope more people would realize what are the real « accomplishments » of Mr Bush in the real world.

You are one of the best comments maker I've seen so far in Deviant Art.
I would like to be as good and as informed as you are on the inside U.S. politics.
And to be much more better in English speaking!

Thank you, you are very kind.

I hesitate for a very long time to submit it, because I think the drawing in itself is not very good and the idea behind it was so-so...
I am not really satisfied with it. I don't know why.

« I wish Bush himself would see this picture. But then again, he might not understand it. »
Maybe, you under-estimate the intelligence of the actual President of the United States of America!

« I'm trying to be as civil as I possibly can. »

Hahaha!
Where is your sense of humour, Godboo?...
We have a maxim in French that says : « Truth is shocking. »
(I'm translating it by myself)

You seem to be shocked, don't you?
Hahaha! Maybe, I made it to the point...

I will explain you the cartoon, because obviously, you don't understand it...

As the President of the United States, Mr Bush represents this country in the world.
So, I put him to represent the U.S.'s appetite for money!

For strangers, money seems the only thing that count for the Unitedstaters.
The Bush's administration tries very hard to make people of the world think that its mean attack in Iraq is to free the Iraqis from a bloody dictator for just the fact of it.

The Bush's administration wants me to believe the Iraq war was made for the beautiful eyes of Iraqi people? After spending hundreds of billions (BILLIONS!) of dollars in the cost of it?

Come on! Things in the real world don't work like that!
Don't fool me with your crap.
Wars in History were always good for the business!
So, President Bush exchanged the life of everybody who's dead in this infamous war for money!
Just a few part of Unitedstaters blinded by their patriotic feelings (as I believe you are) seems to not see this evidence!

This cartoon is to denounce that kind of hypocrisy...

Now, try to prove me that I'm wrong!
Good luck!

I don't get it. You're trying to prove to me that the United States is only in Iraq for the money, yet you admit that the war is costing us billions of dollars?

And by the way, you still havn't given me any facts linking the War in Iraq to money in Bush's pocket.

god you really know nothing. ok. bush's friends own the oil companies OTHER than iraq, they cant take care of iraq oil, but if there's a war in iraq, that puts iraq's oil on hold for any distribution, making the only other oil companies able to increase gas prices with the american people to no other alternatives for gas. HUH how bout now?

The only person I know that might have some financial gain from this war is Cheney from Halliburton. He received most of his Halliburton profits before he took office and any profits he recieves now from Halliburton he gives to charity. ([link])

You claim that Bush's friends own the oil companies that stand to make a profit from the war in Iraq, if you can't back that claim up with evidence, then I guess it is you who know nothing.
